Dinuclear ruthenium thiocarboxylate complexes : (μ-Z)‎[CpRu(L)‎ (L')‎SCO] 2 (Z= 1, 4-C6H4, 1, 3-C6H4, (CH2)‎4)‎

Cyclopentadienyl ruthenium thiocarboxylate din clear complexes of the general formula μ-Z) [CpRu (L) (L′) SCO] 2 {Cp = η5-C5H5; L = L′ = PPh3 (1) ; 1 / 2 dppe (2) ; L = CO, L′ = PPh3 (3), Z = -1,4 C6H4 (a), 1, 3-C6H4 (b), (CH2)4 (c)}, were prepared directly by reacting the cyclopentadienyl ruthenium hydrogensulfido complexes CpRu (L) (L′) SH with diacid chlorides (1, 4-ClCOC6 H4 COCl,-1, 3 ClCOC6H4COCl and ClCO(CH2)4COCl) in THF at room temperature.

The new din clear complexes have been characterized by spectroscopic methods (FT-IR, 1H-NMR and 31P-NMR) and by elemental analysis.
