Prevalence of pathogenic bacteria in buffalo subclinical mastitis atsharkia provinace and relation to bacteria and somatic cell count

Ninty six quarter buffaloes milk samples with suscepted to subclinical mastitis collected from different dairy farm all over Sharkia Governo-rate were examined to determine the prevalence of major contagious bacteria of mastitis and relationship to bacterial count (SPC) and somatic cell count (SCC) as well as bacteria isolates were tested for in vitro sensitivity.

Agreement percent between SCC / 1ml.and bacteriological examination was 84.22 % in which19 samples showed a count more than 500000 cell / 1ml.

out of them 16 samples were positive for bacteria.

In 53.13 % of bacteriological positive examined quarter milk samples, the isolated bacteria were found to be Staphylococcus Aureus (23.53 %), Streptococcus (strept.)Dusaglactia (9.81 %), E.Coli (15.68 %), Corynebacterium Pyogens (7.85 %) and Psudomoneus Aerugenosa (1.97 %) while mixed isolates were Staphylococcus Aureus with E.Coli (11.86 %), Streptococcus Dysaglactia with E.

coli (7.84 %), E.

Coli with Corynebacterium Pyogens (5.88 %) Streptococcus Dysaglactia (11.86 %) and Staphylococcus Aureus with Psudomoneus Aerugenosa (3.92 %).

The in vitro antibiotic sensitivity tests for each type of isolated bacteria were discussed, the results showed that most of the isolated strains were sensitive to Enerofloxacine, Gentamycine and Danofloxacine.
