الملخص EN

The use of photovoltaic module in the solar energy technique to get electric power directly has been a subject of universal interest for several years.

Most of the researches of solar energy conversion were devoted to produce low cost efficient photovoltaic modules.

An experimental study for the evaluation of the performance of a photovoltaic module has been developed in the present research under varying operating conditions.

The output power from photovoltaic modules was found to be affected mainly by the module surface temperature, type of the module, method of module connection, direction of the falling solar irradiance, and irradiance intensity.

Using the tracking mechanism, an excess power of about 13 % was produced more than that from fixed position ϴ = 310 and excess 19 % more than that produced from the horizontal position of the module (ϴ = 0).
