Theoretical model of multi-layered beam with partial connection

This paper presents a theoretical study to the behavior of multi-layered beam system with partial connection.

An assumed element consists of three layers, the upper and the middle layers are connected by shear connectors and glue, and the middle layer and the lower layer are connected by shear connectors only.

Equilibrium and compatibility are satisfied for the forces and displacements at the assumed element.

As a result, two simultaneous differential equations of the second order in terms of slip and axial force are obtained.

A computer program is written in (visual Basic) to apply suggested theoretical model.
