الملخص الإنجليزي

In this thesis units of group rings are studied.

By studying group rings of a finite cyclic group, and by studying symmetric elements and symmetric units in group rings. Then we studied idempotent elements in group ring of a finite cyclic group, and examples about idempotent elements in group ring of a finite cyclic group of order three and four are given. After this, we studied rings homomorphism and some properties and theorems about it are given.

We studied then general triangular matrix ring and some theorems and definitions about it are given.

Finally, we established Automorphism group of generalized triangular matrix rings.
