الملخص الإنجليزي

L i tt le information is available on the optimum seeding rate and chemical fertilization which are required for fenugreek cultivation in Jordan.

Therefore, the current study was conducted to investigate the effect of seeding rate and chemical fertilizer levels on the yield, some agronomic characteristics and the nutrient uptake of fenugreek.

The experiment was implemented during 2005 / 2006 growing season at two locations ; namely, Rabba and Mushaqar agricultural stations.

The treatments comprised of three seeding rates (15, 30, 45 kg ha-1), three nitrogen (N) fertilizer levels (0, 20 and 40 kg N ha-1), and three triple super phosphate (TSP) fertilizer levels (0, 20 and 40 kg TSP ha-1).

The Experiment was laid out using randomized complete block design with factorial arrangement in three replications.
