الملخص الإنجليزي

For code division multiple access (CDMA) schemes, construction of a family of spreading sequences is needed one for each user in which the codes should have well defined autocorrelation and cross correlation properties.

Walsh codes are perfectly orthogonal binary codes that found their applications in synchronous multi-user communications.

For asynchronous multi-user communications the nearly orthogonal gold codes are used.

This work deals with multi-user CDMA mobile communication system operating under different channel conditions such as AWGN and Rayleigh etc...., investigates and evaluates the system performance when synchronous and then asynchronous multi-user communications are at hand.

Walsh, gold and other codes are considered.

Binary and Mary modulations are considered as case studies.
