-Recently, a huge concentration appeared on the role of landscape in the Sustainable schools and its effect on the achievement of Sustainability of its buildings through a number of studies and researches specifies in the designing of landscape in school.

These studies and researches showed that landscape enhance the value of school building ,by its designing and executive features, and affect on the students reaction with their outside environment and made the school a living teaching tool aide with books and teachers , this is not exists in the most country schools landscape meantime .

Therefore, after reviewing the most important studies dealing with the subject of schools buildings, the research adopted (landscape in Sustainable schools) as the subject of the study trying to reach to items help in the development of the local school buildings landscape.

The research reviewed the most important studies dealing with the phenomenon of landscape in Sustainable schools.

The research problem was (there is shortage in the available scientific knowledge over the effect of the landscape in the sustainability of schools locally).While the main assumption of the research is(affect the sustainable school landscape through the presence of characteristics that distinguish it from the rest of the space and that configuration to achieve the sustainability of school buildings and in various aspects).

Therefore the goal of research was to provide information base for Sustainable schools in general and to define the most important designing expressions of landscape in Sustainable schools especially.

The research method was to build theoretical framework to sustainable school, landscape and child behavior , and to make field survey in Baghdad city /Rusafa sector and prepare questionnaire for a sample of students , teachers and school buildings to reach to a results and conclusion.

The aim of questionnaire to recognize the fact of landscape in the local schools and know the level of reaction of students and teachers with the landscape.

Research finding was that landscape working on achieving Sustainability of school buildings by a number of important factors which is ( teaching , environmental , social , psychology , beauty, security and economic factors ) this is achieved through a number of designing features which is ( the multiplicity and variety of landscape in school , The diversity of materials and furniture fit-outs in terms of texture and color , trees and shading) these features work on achieving the landscape in Sustainable schools .The research submitted designing models for schools landscape depending on the results and the research theoretical framework.

these models were represented a rehabitation for the existing schools landscape the research end with a number of special recommendations and suggestions and give some of future search scope.
