The optimal routing is chosen depending on the cost, where different routing protocols are available at different types of cost.
To send the packets on optimum route, the router must find the path with minimum cost.
In traditional protocols, the packets are sending on the path with minimum number of hops, where the path with minimum cost is omitted. This thesis compares optimum path with minimum number of hops and the path with minimum cost in terms of capacity of the Jink and average delay, Dijkastra's algorithm is used to find optimum path and depending on this algorithm, routing table will be built.
The path with minimum number of hops is not always optimum, so the router selected the path depending on computing cost for each link and sends the packets on path with minimum consumption energy, maximum capacity or minimum delay, but with more number of hops than before.
Three different states have been suggested to find optimum path for the network scheme.
First state: all the nodes are static, where the routing table will be not changed.
Second state: destination node changes position, suggested three various positions from source node.
And third state : intermediate node fails, when this failure take place the routing table will be updated and path will be changed.
In each state, the path with minimum cost is the optimum path instead of the path with minimum number of hops.
Hence the router will distribute the routes determining the best path among multiple routes provided by different routing protocols, and this path suitable for the mobile network whether it is infrastructure network infrastructure less network.
