الملخص الإنجليزي

The use of digital signal processing (DSP) for high dynamic frequency tracking is investigated.

In particular, the estimator automatic frequency control (AFC) tracking algorithm that is based on nonpararnetrie and subspace techniques for frequency estimation construct.

Both techniques are compared based on their abilities to track and resolve two sinusoidal signals contaminated by zero mean white Gaussian noise with varying degrees of frequency rate. The results indicated that when the TWO sinusoidal signals become more and more closely separated.

MUSIC method achieves high tracking capability., low side lobes, and lower variance than does nonpararnetrie method which has the disadvantage of limited frequency resolution and high side lobes especially in the case of short data lengths. Finally- the different parameters affecting frequency tracking such as the effect of SNR variations, the effect of frequency separation variation, the effect of data length variations, and the affect of relative phase variations are studied in some depth.
