Synthesis of new pyrazole-3-one derivatives containing Azo group

This research deals with preparation a new heterocyclic compounds and new derivatives for pyrrole -3-one, via two steps : The first step of this study includes preparation new azo compounds for 3-chloro aniline and 3- Bromo aniline by coupling reactions of diazonium salt with ethyl aceto acetate.

The Second step includes the cyclization of the new derivatives with the compounds phenyl hydrazine and 2, 4- dinitro phenyl hydrazine.

Thin layer chromatography were used to follow the chemical reaction and to characterize the new derivatives by using FT-IR and C.H.N.

techniques, the results proved the correctness of the chemical structures for the prepard derivatives.
