الملخص الإنجليزي

Many generalizations to open sets are considered by several authors, such as, s-open (Levine, 1963), a-open (Njastad, 1965), (3-open (Abd El-Monsef, 1983), pre-open (Mashhour, 1982), b-open (Andrijevic, 1996) and b*-open set (Al-Obiadi [2]).

This work aims to study these classes of open sets, and investigate various forms for generalizations of continuity concerning these classes of open sets.

Thus, we generalize and study the notions of strong continuity, totally continuity, contra continuity, b-continuity, totally b-continuity, contra b-continuity and contra b*-continuity are investigated.

Furthermore, many properties and characterizations are given.

The work also aims to give an answer for the question: which class of generalized continuity transforms compact spaces onto strongly S-closed spaces Corollary (4.4.7).

Among the results we have: Theorems 3.1.20., 3.1.24., 3.1.25., 3.1.27., 3.2.23., 4.2.4., 4.3.4., 4.3.5., 4.4.10.

and Corollaries 4.4.5., 4.4.7.
