الملخص الإنجليزي
Gamma spectroscopy technique has been employed to measure the activity concentration of three radioactive isotopes238U, 232Th and 40K in king Talal dam.
The measurements of activity concentration of radioactive isotopes (238U, 232Th and 40K) were performed as a function of depth of 100 cm in all areas.
The mean activity concentrations were found to be (25.0 ± 1.7) Bqkg-1, (25.6 ± 0.4) Bqkg-1 and (223 ± 5) Bqkg-1 for238U, 232Th and 40K respectively.
The values obtained in this study were found to be comparable to the worldwide reported values.
