The increase in using the composite materials in engineering applications leads to expanding the range of researches in this region especially in thermoplastic polymers like polyethylene, polypropylene and polyvinylchloride …etc. This work include experimental and theoretical ways to improve the tensile, creep and recovery properties for plasticized PVC.

The specimens have been prepared by extrude the plasticized PVC grains with plastic injection machine at temperature 170C0, then that reinforced specimens have been prepared using steel wire mesh with diameters (1, 0.25) mm and brass wire mesh with diameter (1mm). Tensile test results indicate that tactile and clear improvement in ultimate tensile stress which sustained by the previous specimens.

The ultimate stress for unreinforced specimen is (52.82MPa) and its values (60.206 MPa) and (90.55MPa) for reinforced specimen with (0.25mm) steel wire mesh and (1mm) steel wire mesh respectively.

The ultimate stress for reinforced specimen by brass wire mesh with diameter (1mm) is (75.46MPa). In the numerical part the representation of the specimens is done by ANSYS software program version 11, The ultimate stress for unreinforced specimen is (53.53MPa) and its values (60.206MPa) and (99.4 MPa) for reinforced specimen with (0.25mm) steel wire mesh and (1mm) steel wire mesh respectively.

The ultimate stress for reinforced specimen by brass wire mesh with diameter (1mm) is (80.8MPa).

Noting that ultimate tensile stress increase with increasing diameter of wire mesh .and the (1mm) steel wire mesh is better than (1mm) brass wire mesh.
