Fe1-xSix thin films were obtained by DC magnetron sputtering on glass substrates.
The alloys were prepared from pure Fe and Si targets.
The alloys were grown up to a thickness of about 5 μm.
The corrosion behaviour of Fe1-xSix alloys containing 4~38 at.
% Si, in 3, 2 % NaCl solution was studied.
The results of potentiostatic and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) tests are discussed and linked to the composition and the morphology of thin films.
It is suggested that Si contributes greatly to passivation in case of high iron silicon alloys.
الملخص FRE
Nous avons élaboré par pulvérisation cathodique magnétron DC des couches minces nano structurées en alliages de fer–Silicium Fe1-xSix.
Le comportement à la corrosion en milieu chloruré (H2O - 3,2 g/l NaCl) a été analysé.
Nous avons constaté que les meilleures performances électrochimiques sont obtenues pour les structures amorphes (teneur élevée en silicium).
La résistance de transfert de charge (Rt) et la résistance de polarisation (Rp) présentent, en fonction de la concentration en silicium, les mêmes évolutions.
