الملخص الإنجليزي

The present work tends to highlight some of the salient misconceptions that surround the broad subject of terrorism.

It is divided into various segments-Introduction and three Sections.

Introduction provides preliminary discourse on the subject under research.

Section One expounds various misgivings that tend to project that all contemporary Arab - Islamic states are governed by Islamic Sharia.

A scholastic critique is incorporated.

Section Two exposes misconceptions that state that both Jews and Christians are expelled from Arabian Peninsula on contemptuous basis.

An illuminating answer is provided.

Section Three incorporates misconceptions that are labelled against Jihad.

The present study provides a categorical rebuttal to dispel such fabrications.

The present work has made an endeavor to provide a precise definition on terrorism.

The author makes, however, a frank admission that many conferences and seminars are held periodically.

Nevertheless, no precise definition has been concurred.

He, however, records the definition advanced by the Islamic Fiqh Academy of the Organization of Islamic Conference.

The latter sums ups in the following words : Terrorism is a form of aggression, intimidation or threat posed by state, group or individual, against the integrity of humans life, religion, property and intellect.
