Right to the privacy of life and its protection in the wake of computer - related and Internet crimes has become most crucial problem of today.

This problem is the outcome of ever - expanding use of computer and Internet.

This expansion has led to the violation of confidentiality of individual and the privacies associated with their lives.

For, these secrets can be accessed through Internet network.

Later, such secrets may be transmitted to criminals.

Phenomenal developments in the area of technology on Internet has led to the encroachments of human privacies and human secrecies.

Undoubtedly, such crimes find no precedent in conventional laws.

In the wake of new developments, new crimes have emerged.

The present study represents a modest endeavor to shed light on the subject from various aspects.

The study, as a whole, is divided into three Sections.

Section One amplifies the concept of right to the privacy of life and its various components.

Section Two exposes the multiple forms of offences related to the infringement of sanctity associated with the privacy of life through the use of computer and Internet.

Section Three provides an advocacy on national criminal legislations ensuring protection to life privacy in the wake of emerging computer - related and Internet crimes.
