الملخص AR

يتناول هذا البحث دراسة الأساليب الخطابية التي استخدمها كل من الرئيسين الأميريكيين جورج دبليو بوش و باراك أوباما في خطابيهما الافتتاحي لعامي 2001 و 2009.

و قد حاول البحث و باستخدام نظرية (الانتقالية) لهاليدي و التي هي جزء من النحو الوظيفي المنهجي (النظام) كإطار نظري للدراسة إظهار الإيديولوجيات السياسية المنعكسة في الأنماط الخطابية التي استخدمها الرئيسين في خطابهما الافتتاحي. و قد أظهر البحث من خلال تطبيق هذه النظرية و باستخدام التحليل الإحصائي أن بعض التراكيب اللغوية المستخدمة في الخطابين تعكس و تتضمن مواقف الرئيسين الإيديولوجية و وجهة نظريهما عن العالم.

الملخص EN

This study examines the speech styles used in the inaugural speeches of two of American presidents : George W.

Bush ٢٠٠١, and Bark Obama ٢٠٠٩.

By employing Halliday's transitivity framework, guided by Systemic Functional Grammar (SFG), this study attempts to reveal the ideologies presented in discourse patterns used by the two presidents. Using the transitivity model, aided by statistical analysis , the research shows that certain linguistic structures of the speech encode the particular worldview or ideological stance of a speaker.
