أثر استراتيجية التدريس التبادلي في تنمية التحصيل الدراسي و التفكير التأملي لدى طالبات الصف التاسع الأساسي

This study aimed at investigating the impact of the strategy of Reciprocal Teaching in developing the achievement of Ninth Grade female students in biology (Control and Regulation Chapter) and their reflective thinking.

The study sample consisted of (69) female students from the ninth grade at Tal- beyych preparatory school at UNRWA.

They were distributed randomly into two groups: the experimental group studied science using the strategy of reciprocal teaching, and the control group studied in the traditional strategy.

Two scalcs were used to measure achievement and rcflcctivc thinking of the two groups as pretests and posttcsts.

The results of study show that there were statistically signifi- cant differences between the means of the control and experimental groups on the scientific achieve- ment test and the rcflcctivc thinking scale due to using reciprocal teach- ing strategy, in favor of the experi- mental group.

Based on the findings of the study, the researchers rccommcndcd us- ing reciprocal teaching strategy in teaching sciencc, and strengthening the role of student and teacher train- ing on this strategy.
