الملخص AR

سنقوم بمسح لامتدادات الزمرة بالزمرة، باستخدام الجداء التقاطعي بدلا من متسلسلات الزمر التامة.

لهذه الطريقة ميزات متعددة، إحداها أن الجداء التقاطعي هو عنصر عالمي.

سنعرض عدة تطبيقات جديدة، و سنثبت مبرهنة عامة من نوع Schreier و نطرح بعض المسائل التي لم تحل بعد.

الملخص EN

We survey the extensions of a group by a group using crossed products instead of exact sequences of groups.

The approach has various advantages, one of them being that the crossed product is a universal object.

Several new applications are given, a general Schreier type theorem is proved and a few open problems are posed.
