الملخص الإنجليزي

This research considers developing an expert system for management, handling and analysis the geographic information in a multi-organization environment through a multi-database system. ADDIE is an acronym referring to the major processes that comprise the generic instructional systems development (ISD) process: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.

When used in ISD models, these processes are considered to be sequential but also iterative, it is a project management tool.

It helps us think about the different steps in instructional design of the system.

ADDIE model is a model adapted to analyses, design, develop, implement and evaluate the expert system which is developed to achieve the following objectives; handling, sharing and analyzing the geographic information in a multi-organizational environment. Analysis of the system from many aspect; system and user requirements, inputs, outputs, procedures, controls and performance of the system.

The design of the system consider organizing the strategies and goals that formulated in the analysis phase, and defines the main modules that will be available for the users, and the flow chart of the system is developed.

In the development phase, the database is created and the construction of the main modules begins based on the decision constructed during the design phase.

In the implementation phase the delivery of the system is conducted and the final product is developed based on needs of WASH Sector in a user friendly tool for handling and analysis of the spatial information of the partners.

The evaluation phase measures the effectiveness and efficiency of the WASH Information System in facilitating coordination between WASH sector partners. Microsoft Visual Basic for application (VBA) which is embedded in both the Microsoft Access database and ArcGIS is used to automate the process of handling and analysis the geographic information of the WASH Sector partners, and an interactive map query tool has been developed, to be used by users with a basic knowledge in a computer. The main outputs of the system are a database and GIS application with a user friendly interface for effective management for the data and spatial data handling, sharing and analyzing.
