الملخص الإنجليزي

This study was conducted to design a control program for Programmable Logic Controller (PLC).

The so-called program is used in building automatic control system for batch HMA plant which is operated through manual control system that consists of electromagnetic control circuit.

Due to this control system, the plant suffers from inaccuracy in setting the specifications of Hot Mixing Asphalt (HMA) and troubleshooting.

The aim of the designed automatic control system for batch HMA plant is to improve the HMA quality.

Also, the so-called control system can be used instead of the semi-automatic control system, used in a number of batch HMA plants, to solve the problem of high cost maintenance and difficulties of troubleshooting, resulted from the monopoly of PLC control program by PLC control systems producers. The automatic control system of batch HMA plant was designed using PLC, Master K 300S of LG and a control program was designed for it to obtain the automatic operation proposed for all plant parts.

As a result of designation and verification of control program, the HMA quality and productivity rise considerably beside facilitation of troubleshooting. The designed automatic control system for batch HMA plant can replace the manual and semi-automatic control as a solution of problems accompany such plants.
