الملخص الإنجليزي

The main objective of this study is to create a geological dynamic model for Sodiri area (in the middle west of the Sudan, about 390 km south west of Khartoum).Sodiri is suggested to be the study area of this research work because it is characterized by its rich in geological features with a lot of economic minerals.

The primary test data used in this study are set of spectral bands acquired by the American Landsat -7 images system in year 2000.

To achieve the objectives of this study, a digital image processing application was used to enhance the image.

A false color composed (band 7, 4 and 1) was produced to classify the geological features for study area.

Geographical information system (GIS) was used to generate the geological dynamic model of the study area.

The study prevailed it is possible to build a real geological dynamic model using of Remote Sensing and geographical information system (GIS) applications.
