الملخص الإنجليزي

The main objective of this research is to investigate the capability and applicability of GIS in oil geospatial data management.

Three basic operations were evaluated these are seismic operation, rood design and data monitoring.

To achieve this objective, set of data were acquired digital maps of pipeline, main facilities ; seismic lines will distributions hydro carbon concession map and satellite image coverage the study area.

The data was prepared, managed, manipulated and subjected into geodatabase model more over it have been built in representation model.

A seismic line was buffered by 50 and 100 meters for producing wells and pipeline specifications.

Buffered zone were used to highlight affected area.

Remote sensing and GIS technique were use to evaluate the land cover change detection and road design.

GIS model built to evaluate the lack of data.

It's recommended that GIS is a powerful system for data sharing, supervising update database, management, retrieved and analysis.

GIS provides the ability of analysis and it showed that, five pipelines were found to be affected by the seismic activity and two production wells were found to be located within the critical zone with explosive process.
