Topic : The Role of Educational Technology in the Development of Children's Linguistic Abilities. Researcher :-Mohammed Ali Assafi.

This study has aimed at investigating the problem facing children at elementary level when teachers don't use educational technology to develop children's linguistic abilities. This study adopts a descriptive analytical method.

The sample consists of elementary school students in Riyadh .K.S.A., and elementary school teachers.

The number of schools is ten, the number of students is 200 and the number of teachers is 120.

The relationship between the frequency of educational aids use and indicators of information acquisition is investigated using a T-test statistics.

Two tools are used to collect the data: a test and a questionnaire whose validity and reliability were checked and specified.

The research reveals the importance of educational technology in the teaching process.

Consequently, the study has drawn some conclusions and given recommendations to improve the educational process and to make it more fruitful through the use of educational technology.
