الملخص الإنجليزي

The purpose of this study is to investigate some aspects of verbal & non-verbal behaviour among Muslims.

In order to set the scene it is essential to review the impact of Islamic culture on verbal & non-verbal behaviour of people of a Muslim community.

The first chapter is an introduction which states the purpose of the study, the objectives, questions and hypotheses.

Chapter two reviews some of the related literature and is divided into three parts : the first part introduces verbal & non-verbal ehavior.

Part two is directed to Muslims’ verbal ehavior and part three considers the non- verbal ehavior of Muslims.

Chapter three presents the instruments and procedures chosen for the collection of data.

One device that has proven useful is the questionnaire which is administered to students of Taiba University in Almadinah-almunawwara.

Chapter four includes data analysis and interpretation of the results, statistically.

In the light of the discussion of the results presented in chapter four, the research conclusion is drawn from data analysis and formulated in chapter five. Chapter five, then, is devoted to summary of the findings of this study.
