The effect of hairy grain beetles larvae fed on nine varieties of oil seeds on some biosogical parameters of larvae and adult stages was studied at 32+1/c and relative humiditj from 40 to 50%.

Results indicated that the higher averages of larval durations were 82.8 and 53.4 days were recorded lor larvae fed on safflower seeds (Al-mays) and sunflower seed (Peridovik), the higher average of instar number of these larvae were 8.0 and 6.0 instars.

When larvae fed on sunflower seeds (local variety), the higher percentage of larvae mortality were 44.0 % and 64.0 % when larvae fed on sunflower seeds , local and pendvik varieties.
