The aim of the study is to examine the human relationships in D.

H.

Lawrence's selected novels "The Rainbow" (1915) and " Women in Love” (1920) and to expose the dead formulas of love and marriage which cause so much suffering to the individual.

It also shows how Lawrence employed art especially the novel to reveal his message, which is an elimination of the conflict between the intellect, and the natural instinct, which will lead to the fulfilment of the individual throughout creating a balance between them.
