Prevalence and distribution pattern of interdental spaces in the primary dentition of Saudi Arabian children

A survey was carried out to determine the frequency of occurrence of interdental spacing in the primary dentition of Saudi Arabian children.

Re¬sults show that spacing is vety prevalent in the dentition with no significant difference between the sexes.

The primate space on the upper arch was a very prominent feature while in the lower arch interdental spaces were evenly dis¬tributed.
