The insertion of a mortar inclusion into a rock sub jested to compression results in a concentration of stress.
The initiation of damage results from fracture of the mortar rock interlace and from shear fracture of the rock near the interface.
The shear fracture of rock does not seriously affect the stiffness of the test specimen.
الملخص FRE
Dans le cas de l'inclusion de mortier dans une roche soumise à une compression.
l'inclusion produit une concentration de contraintes.
Il en résulte une initiation de l'endommagcmcnt par rupture en traction de l'interface mortier-roche cl par rupture en cisaillement de la roche près de l'interface de part et d'autre de l'inclusion.
Les ruptures essentiellement en cisaillement de la roche n'affectent pas de manière sensible la rigidité en compression de l'éprouveile.
