Pyr (proxyfen, growth regulatory, that mimics the action of juvenile hormone (JH) has been evaluated.on development of Tenebrio molitor The coumpound was applied topically (0.01, 0.10 and 0.20 pg/insect) at day pupal ecdysis or added to the culture medium (i and 10 pM) of sternal integuments explanted from newly ecdysed pupae The compound was first evaluated on ecdysteroid hemolymphatic production and also on concentration and profile of protein in hemolymph.
Data obtained showed that the pyriproxyfen decreases ecdysteroid titers with a dose effect and induces an increase in the proteins concentrations in hemolymph; however, the pyriproxyfen presents no effects on electrophoretic pattern.
The compound added to the culture medium was then tested on the production of ecdysteroid by integumental explants and the thickness of cuticle secreted in vitro.
The amount of ecdysteroid released into the culture medium by integumental explants and adult cuticle synthesis were significantly inhibited by pyriproxyfen.
الملخص FRE
Le pyriproxyfène, analogue de l'hormone juvénile (JH), a èié testé sur le développement d'un insecte Coléoptère Tenebrio mol if or Le régulateur de croissance a été utilisé par application topique (0.01, 0.10 et 0.20 /jg/ insecte) le jour de Vexuviation nymphale ou additionné dans le milieu de culture (I et 10 pM) d*expiants tégumentaires de nymphes nouvellement exuviées.
Les effets in vivo du pyriproxyfène ont été évalué, au cours de la métamorphose, sur la production des ecdystéroïdes hémolymphatiques et sur le profil des protéines de Uhémolymphe.
Les résultats obtenus montrent que le pyriproxyfène entraîne drune part, une inhibition des taux hormonaux avec un effet dose dépendant et d'autre part, une augmentation des concentrations des protéines dans l'héniolymphe; cependant, l'analogue de l'hormone juvénile ne présente aucun effet sur le pattern électrophorétique.
Les effets du pyriproxyfène ont été également évalué in vitro sur la production d'ecdystéroïdes.
