The microwave permittivity of liquid Araldite AY 10 3 is measured at X band as a junction of the volume of the liquid.

A cylindrical microwave cavity resonating on the T.M.020 mode is used.

For evaluating the complex permittivity in presence of the vessel supporting the liquid two measurements are necessary.

Une measurement is done with the vessel empty of liquid, and another with the cavity loaded with the vessel and the liquid in it.

The principle of measurement is classical.

We measure the frequency shift and the loss factor of the loaded and the unloaded cavity and we deduce, the real part and the imaginary one from perturbation theory .

The results of the real part of the complex permittivity and the imaginary part are nearly the same as when we negle
