-Thin films of cerium dioxide (Ce()are prepared by the spray pyrolysis method onto glass substrates using aqueous or mixture of water and ethanol solution of CeCl3,7H : 0.

Scanning electron microscopy obsen’ations reveal an important porosity density as like as porous silicon.

The influence of some experimental parameters such as substrate temperature (300-500°C) and solvent (deionized water and mixture of water and ethanol) on the structure and surface morphology (porosity) of these films are investigated
