Rheological behaviour of some dilute polymer solutions

-Rheological characteristics of dilute aqueous solutions of three types of commercial polymer were investigated using a rotational viscometer.

The polymer concentrations were varied between 500 ppm and 3000 ppm at a temperature range between 20°C and 65°C.

Shear rate ranged between 5.41 S-l and 692.48 S-I.

A new proposed correlation for the viscosity of dilute polymer solution as a function of temperature.
