الملخص EN

The main objective of this paper is to explore and identify the importance of training programs at Mu'tah University to the administrative and technical staff, and to find out any possible relationship between these programs and the improvement of their efficiency and performance of the duty.

This study was conducted through soliciting the viewopoints of both the top management as represented by the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, and the chosen sample of employees toward the training programs.

It found that there were several opposite opinions between both parties, unsystematic planning and assessing for the actual training needs that are guided by the regular internal inspection and justice, and the impact of personal relations between manager and employee in determining the one who deserves or not the training program.

The study also clarified that motivations are nearly not distributed freely among all employees
