الملخص الإنجليزي

Self-compacting concrete (SCC) is one of the most significant advances in concrete technology in the last two decades.

One of the methods to manage the brittleness of concrete is by using fibers (especially microfiber) that stop the propagation of the cracks and densify the matrix by their homogeneous distribution in the concrete.

SCC mixes have been designed depending on third generation Sp and then introduce SF in the mix and reinforce it with CF, then immersed in the aggressive solution for 90 days a^er initial moist curing till 28 days age in tap water.

The results indicated that the immersion of all SCC mixes in aggressive solution has no negative effect of the natural progressing in strength with time.

Also the incorporation of SF and CF in SCC mixes improved all the studied properties before and after immersion the sample in the aggressive solution.
