Synthesis and spectroscopic characterization of some mixed ligand complexes of co (ii)‎, ni (ii)‎ and cu (ii)‎ : part-i

New series of mixed ligand complexes of some divalent transition metals with some bi-dentate ligands such as (>^enylenediamine, anthranilic acid, L-alanine and phthalic acid have been prepared and characterized using different techniques, in particular elemental analysis infrared spectroscopy, electron paramagnetic resonance and molar conductivity.

Elemental analyses data reveal that the prepared complexes were formed in MLL’ (1:ل:ا ra-tio).

Infrared spectra exhibit one mode of chelation site, through oxygen side of the hy-droxyl group in COOH and nitrogen side of the amino group (NH2).

Electron paramagnet-ic resonance spectra indicated the presence of paramagnetic phenomena and supported the geometrical structures of the complexes under investigation, being either octahedral or square planar.

The molar conductance measurements indicated non-electrolytic complexes.
