Quality assurance initiatives depend mainly on analyses of data collected from different sources.

The validity and reliability of an instrument is an important aspect that allows for using an instrument in future research.

This study tries to check if language influenced the results of a survey applied to students in two languages (Arabic and English).

The study was conducted in an Omani university college and yielded significant differences between the means of the Arabic and English language surveys used.

Results and conclusions are reported.
