Laparoscopic extravesical ureteral reimplantation in children is currently a technically demanding procedure with sparse literature to aid in mastering the learning curve.

We present our most recent technique and lessons learned after 20 cases in children 4–15 years of age.

The literature is also reviewed to encapsulate the current state-of-the-art.
