A projection iterative process is investigated for the class of asymptotically quasi-ϕ-nonexpansive mappings in the intermediate sense.

Strong convergence theorems of common fixed points of a family of asymptotically quasi-ϕ-nonexpansive mappings in the intermediate sense are established in the framework of Banach spaces.
