Moreover, the jaws may harbor nonodontogenic bone lesions not seen in any other part of the skeleton.

This paper pays attention to the diseases that are specific for the jaws, odontogenic as well as nonodontogenic.

Both neoplastic and nonneoplastic entities will be discussed.
