The study of productivity of mountainous maritime pine (Pinus pinaster S.

var.

Moghrebiana) in replainted forests of the Rif and oriental Middle Atlas was approached using polymorphic technics.

This study showed three growth classes.

The appl ication of multivariate analysis of dendrometric and phyto-ecologicaldata with analytic methods and global methods for each of the three growth classes showed that: - the first class was characterized with a vegetetion group indicator of fertil medium with deep to very deep soil and subhumid to mild humid bioclimatic types; - the second class, weakly individualized was rather concerned with relatively cold media and fairly deep soils; - the third class occurred in dry media with semi-arid to mild subhumid bioclimatic types and marly calcarous oligotrophesqueletic soils.
