الملخص EN

In view of the advanced degradation of natural ecosystems in Morocco it is urgent to protect forest genetic resources.

for the economically important forest species, the Moroccan Forest Service has established a regulation for protection, improvement and utilisation for reproduction materiel.

But a lot of other species had been neglected.

Those species like jumpems sp, Taxus baccaUt, Acacia sp, Pistacia, Ceratonia sp.

with small or large natural area have a high importance in ecosystems and their exploitation bv populations.

fhe objectives of this project are collecting information about the activities already realized in Morocco, and suggesting : • a strategic approach to protect those forest genetic resources with are endangered • concrete actions witch show the reversibility of most of degradation events.
