intention of this survey was to investigate tomedical research in a developing country, Afghanistan, tJ0uSh collating the number and types of publications and review the number of publications concerned with leases of particular relevance to the country.

, hundred and two publications were identified and eir types and distribution are discussed in relation to Jghanistan and to developing countries in general and to research published from more developed regions of the World.
