الملخص الإنجليزي

This research aimed at analyzing the impact of Jordanian industrial firms’ organizational factors on the long term debt structure for the period 2000-2010.

To accomplish the objective of this research, the long term debt structure has been used as dependent variable.

The firm size, profitability, tangibility, non-debt tax shield, growth, and firms' age have been used as independent variables.

The relationship between the indicators was investigated, studied and the form of the long-term debt structure of industrial companies in Jordan was established by using the pooled data.

The data that contains pooling of time series and cross sectional observations (combination of time series and cross-sectional data).

The results show that there a negative indication the increasing size, tangibility, profitability, and age will decrease The long term debt.

The thesis found, that there was no effect of non-debt tax and growth on long term debt
