Transition charge distributions in nuclear collective modes

An expression for the transition charge density is investigated where the deformation in nuclear collective modes is taken into consideration besides the shell model transition density.

The inelastic longitudinal form factors are calculated using this transition charge density with excitations of the levels in '2c (2+i, 4.44 MeV) and in l0؛؛ (2+i, 1.98 ^٧).

The experimental data are well described when the collective components are taken into consideration through a model that connects the ground state to the J-multipole ntuo giant resonance.

The form of the ground state charge density used in this work is obtained from the filling number of states.
