الملخص الإنجليزي

With the recent expansion and development of higher education institutions- as well as the growth in the number of students enrolled- the education systems need to adjust it selves to accommodate the requirements of greater student numbers, the rapid variation in educational environment, and to keep pace with plans for sustainable development both locally and regionally.

However in spite of this recognition, many institutions have failed to develop programs and curricula which meet these requirements or which seek to serve the students and community directly.

Furthermore current methods of learning, teaching and assessment tools are not to the level that may serve the overall objectives of the programs.

Whilst some faculty members may be insufficiently qualified to implement the changes required.

This study focuses on the elements of quality assurance systems at higher education institutions and discusses some challenging issues then, it presents a practical experience in order to enhance the quality of education at the interested institutions.
