This paper discusses the role of ICT for higher education in the Arab world in general, and in Lebanon in particular.
It begins by highlighting the rationale for strategic policy for educational ICT, as well as the operational components of ICT policies.
It then tackles the role of ICT in building the Arab knowledge society, as well as ICT Capacity building in Lebanon.
