Monitoring and controlling the activates of the network remote PC's are considered as on of the network problems that faces the network administrator.

Since the network PCs could be distributed (i.e.

they are not necessary in the same geographical place), therefore, a software is needed to perform the monitoring job and make the network monitoring easy for the administrator (from his place). The Aim of this Dissertation is to design and implement networkmonitoring system.

One or more Remote PCs in the network can be monitored and their activates are controlled using this system.

This system can monitor the remote PC desktop screen, mouse motion, and keystrokes.

In addition to sending warning messages to the remote PC user.

When the user performs suspicious actions on his PC, in this case, the administrator can force the remote user to logoff windows.

All these action can be done remotely by the administrator, who is responsible for the network. To implement this system, two programming languages are used, Java and VC++ under windows XP.

To combine between these two languages the Java Native Interface (JNI) method is used.

Since Java supports network activities, while VC++ deals with operating system API in perfect way.

The developed code were tested under different environment (windows 2000 server, and windows XP) and the result obtained are quite encouraging
