Etude comparative de la biodiversite des matorrals des parcs naturels de Grazalema (Espagne)‎ et de talassemtane (Maroc)‎

The vegetation of the natural park of Grazalema (Spain) has been compared with those the natur; park of Talassemtane (Morocco).

This comparison was focused on biologicaldiversit\y and structure ofshrubland communities associated to rcliclic formations of the endemic firs: Abies pinsapo Boiss and Abies maroccanc, Trabt.

A quatative approach using numerical analysis of ordination and classification has been applied to typif; the communities presents in each area instead of phytosociological one.Shrubland communities have been char acterized by its diversities and structure using ecological diversity indices.

Regarding the role and the magnitud of human disturbances on diversity, structure and dynamic ofmediterraneen vegetation, we have proposed a nev Anthropic Impact Index as aquantitave approach to human impact in Talassemtane Natural Park The old-growt vegetation in "sacred refuges" has been characterized and contrasted against the degraded vegetation in bot Talassemtane and Grazalema- The present study allowed us to understand the dynamic status of the scrub vegctE tion subjected to two different types of human land management in intensity and frequency In addition, it allowe us to know the consequences of the remaining human impact on the vegetation in thtKif and the consequences o the aoandonment of cultivated land by rural population inAndalusia.

Thus provide us a useful keys and tools fo the future plans of conservation and management for both Natural Parks
